Violation of rights faced by laborers in Pakistan, especially in light of Islamic teachings: has become the matter that need immanent attention. According to the teachings of Islam, every worker has the right to be treated with respect, to receive adequate wages, to work in safe conditions, and to be given their due rest. Unfortunately, many workers in Pakistan, particularly domestic helpers and Manual laborers, are deprived of these basic rights.
These workers often face harsh conditions, work long hours without proper rest and are not paid sufficiently. Many do not have job security and are subjected to physical and mental abuse. This is not only against human rights but also goes against the principles laid down by Islam.
Government should take strict action to protect the rights of workers. Employer should be made to pay fair wages and provide safe working conditions. Laws should be enforced to guarantee that workers are treated with respect and honour. With proper legal reforms and public awareness, the situation of domestic and Manual labourers can improve. Islam teaches us to respect and value the labor of others, and it is the time we reflect these values in our treatment of workers.
